Saudi Ministry Launches 9th Media Oasis Amid Trump Visit

Riyadh: The ninth edition of Media Oasis, a leading initiative by the Saudi Ministry of Media, commenced in Riyadh, aligning with the official visit of US President Donald Trump to the Kingdom.

The two-day event is being held at the Green Halls venue, transforming a 2,000-square-meter space into a hub of advanced media technology and multi-zoned exhibitions.

It is designed to serve as a dynamic media platform for extensive coverage of Trump's visit while reflecting Saudi Arabia’s evolving global presence.

The Media Oasis is attracting over 2,500 media professionals, both local and international, making it one of the largest media gatherings in the region.

The initiative operates in partnership with the Quality of Life Program, a central part of Vision 2030 Saudi Arabia’s long-term national development and diversification strategy.

Organizers say the event not only facilitates live broadcast capabilities but also showcases how the Kingdom is reshaping its narrative on the world stage.

Among the highlighted zones is “Oasis Valley,” created specifically for live reporting on Trump’s activities and engagements within Saudi Arabia.

Another key section, the “Oasis Exhibition,” provides rich content and context about Vision 2030’s transformative projects.

The event further emphasizes bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom and the United States, particularly in infrastructure and tourism sectors.

A special exhibit celebrates 90 years of Saudi-US diplomatic ties, tracing key historical moments and shared achievements in politics, culture, and economics.

This retrospective aims to underline the deep-rooted and strategic relationship between the two nations.

Additionally, four high-tech broadcast studios have been installed at the venue, enabling continuous, professional-grade news coverage from both domestic and foreign networks.

Participating organizations include leading Vision 2030 stakeholders such as the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition, NEOM, New Murabba Development Company, Qiddiya Investment Company, and the team steering Saudi Arabia’s 2034 FIFA World Cup hosting plans.

The Media Oasis serves not only as a media center but as a statement of Saudi Arabia’s intent to play a central role in shaping regional and global narratives.
